So yes they are sold for children but for women or people who don't have huge heads they are great. They are very light so you can wear them for long periods (e.g. at work) and not experience the headache/earache that comes with most headphones. I also believe when people say that over-ear headphones are better for your hearing in the long run than things like in-ear headphones. I've been buying the same headphones for twenty years. Serious. I go about ONCE every TEN years so I'm on my second set. And the only reason they're being replaced now is because I'd take them across the country in crappy day bags, pull them out from under all the stuff that lives in my bag, and the only wear and tear? Foam. The actual speakers and sound are still great.
