They work (most of the time).
I have two of these. One in a 6'x6' laundry room that smelled like cat pee and one in my fridge. The smell of cat urine is completely gone as long as there is charcoal in the room. I once left a bag out in the sun for three days and found that a very faint odor returned until I put the bag back and then the smell went away. The fridge no longer smells. In general it works. . And the one in the laundry room had been there for two years. Keep them charged in the sun as directed and in my experience they will last a long time.
