Every toner I've ever tried has a standard pump that drips liquid into your hands. A spray nozzle is used for this. You spray it right in your face. The smell is similar to aftershave or cologne but not as strong. It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves no residue. It doesn't cause any reactions on my sensitive skin, which is a big plus. The bottle is not glass, although it looks similar. It's made entirely of plastic. Overall a good toner.
