A must for people who have a shower head and a water heater on request.
Since we have an on demand water heater, the normal pause button on the shower was not an option as every time the hot water flow stops the heater turns off and the flow turns back on, the cold water supply appears until the water heater starts heating water again. This control allows us to reduce the flow to 0.5 GPM, the minimum required to keep the heater on, eliminating the cold water surge that would occur if the flow were stopped entirely.
