Well it's really cute and I liked the idea of having something pretty to go with my helix piercing. Three weeks later my husband had me remove it because everything was swollen on that side of my face! It even affected my breathing. After calls to my doctor and a course of antibiotics, I felt much better. No fever, no infection, and I still have to keep my eyes open (insert Van Gogh joke here). Now after this harrowing adventure I can say they are beautiful and work well if you don't wear them for more than 10 hours at a time. If not, as with all fine arts, just look at the pictures and then go to a piercing shop and buy something there.
