I'm going to return this and get a refund. The button needs to be touched in a very specific spot in order for it to activate the ringer and the touch has to be a hard and deliberate touch. It would not activate when my dog swiped his paw across it or touched it with his nose. He pretty much had to slam his paw on the one spot to get it to register.I tried two of three buttons we got and both were very inconsistent even when I was the one touching/activating them. A training tool that fails this much is useless. I have a different brand of dog doorbells that have a mechanical push button that I'll continue to use instead.
