Review on Shure MX153C/O-TQG Cocoa Omnidirectional Earset Headworn Microphone by Jim Bethea

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good sounding mic is the best mic and accessory

This mic was purchased to replace the lavalier mic that came with our Shure wireless system. We use this system in a church with multiple speakers and monitors. The building also has acoustic problems. The sound quality is excellent. Comparable to our Shure SM58 microphones. This mic is very sensitive and I was able to reduce the mixer gain to 14dB while still maintaining adequate volume with minimal or no background noise from speakers or floor monitors. I highly recommend this microphone. The Microflex is very comfortable to wear and stays in place even with a lot of head movement.
