I bought 2 of these heated towel rails. One of the bars (where the brackets are) was the correct length, 31 inches. The other bar was made at 30.75 inches. I set the first bar - no problem. I assume the 2nd bar would be 31 inches. NO. I drilled 31" holes, put in the anchors and brackets and tried to hang the bar. no-go! The brackets were 1/4 inch narrower to each other. ! You cannot attempt to drill new holes that are only 1/4 inch from existing holes in the plasterboard. You will have 1 huge hole. I had to go to my stash of expansion bolts, enlarge the holes, insert expansion bolts and re-hang. What a problem! quality control? - I do not think so!
