A few days ago the National Grid had a power problem where the power went out, turned back on, turned off again, blinked a few times I played hockey a couple of times and then finally didn't go out for about 2 hours. As a result of the power outage (and yes, all my electronics are plugged into surge protectors) my TV displayed the first picture you see. After countless attempts to disconnect and reconnect all connections, nothing worked. Samsung support told me I need a new One Connect cable. They didn't give me a part number and the part number listed on this page isn't the one I found, but this cable solved my problem anyway. I have a late 2017 65 inch Samsung Q7F QLED TV (QN65Q7FAMFXZA to be exact). ). Hope this helps someone else because I wasn't 100% sure it would work, but it works and seems to work fine. I wish it was cheaper. but it is like that. I will fight the electricity company for a refund.
