Perfect for what we need it for!

After searching for muddy boots, it finally dawned on me that wellies are something I could use, and at a better price. I have two boys who are obsessed with a dry creek near my home. I call it a dry creek because in summer there is almost no water in it. This is mainly caused by rain and runoff. My two special needs boys often went down to play in the water and mud but they would ruin or get their sneakers wet no matter how many times we told them to put on their play shoes. We've had them for a few months now and I wanted to see how they hold up. My boys returned to the house covered in mud from head to toe with boots filled with water and mud. At first I thought these boots wouldn't last long, but they are! We'll leave her out on the porch. All this dirt is crazy! Plus they get a chance to dry! So far I have to say these are damn good boots! They suffered terrible violence. Yes, we've already lost the earbuds, but who cares! I don't have to worry about washing and drying my sneakers every day. We don't have a lot of money, so the kids only have a pair of sneakers. It makes my life so much easier!

Pros
  • Has worked well for several months. No leaks and seems to be doing its job well
Cons
  • They seemed cheaply made compared to my previous pair. Maybe it's just me, but not thrilled with them
