This is the best liner on the market.
Unlike other grip mats, it has no perforations through which small particles or solutions can get through. You can toss this rug in the washing machine or you can bleach and vigorously clean it. When we moved into our previous house 16 years ago I used this rug in all of the kitchen and bathroom drawers where I kept mortars, dishes, pots, pans, pans, cutting boards etc. When we recently moved in I removed the carpet boxes and it looked brand new! I cut out a section of an old rug and reused it and used some of the discolored bits to wrap the wall art when we moved. Can't say enough about this product.
