First let me point out that I have listed the measurements of this orthosis below as they are not listed in the Revain product description. The right size is very important with this product! I have torn meniscuses in both knees and arthritis that is causing pain in my posterior cruciate ligaments. I work on my feet all day as a meat grinder and I usually do well with Futuro braces. On busy holidays I usually work more than 12 hours a day and the Futuro product doesn't provide enough support for this long period of time. The support from this brace is so good that from the moment I put it on the pain is gone - completely. Then why only 4 stars? You can't wear a corset all day. The pack says not to wear for more than 2-3 hours. I've been wearing it for 6 hours now but by then I was having weakness in my back leg and numbness in my toes. My solution was to start my day with this orthosis and then, about 4 hours later, switch to the Futuro orthosis. This brace is larger than other staples with the same size designation (e.g. the "Large" size for this brace is another company's size). X-large). You should definitely measure the circumference of your knee before ordering this brace. Size designations are as follows: (knee circumference follows size) 12-14", small 14-16", medium 15-17", large 17-20", X-large 19-22", XX is the large Size of my knee 17" and since there is no size match in this measurement I ordered XL. When I received it, the top of the brace was too big for my hips, so it folded up on its own when I tightened the strap. I had to return it for the big one, which is spot on. It actually fits tight enough that I don't even have to tighten the straps. I would like to see a big one like 15-18 inches. Perhaps I would not have experienced the apparently occurring circulatory restriction. If the corset was something I could wear all day I would definitely give it 5 stars.
