I've tried 4 different brands of exfoliating gels so I like to think I now have a good idea of what makes an effective/quality formula and I can say that this is one of the ties is the best actor. It's a nice and thick gel so it won't run off your face or get lost in the shower if water accidentally hits it. Within seconds of a facial massage, the cellulose in the product becomes texturized, which in turn traps and removes your own dead cells very gently but shockingly effectively. I find this to be far more effective at removing all dry skin than any facial scrub or brush I have ever used, while also being far gentler. It doesn't leave my skin irritated or sensitive, greatly improves the absorption of my serums, oils and creams and leaves a smooth makeup application complex. Even though the instructions say to use it on a dry face (it works well in this case), I personally find it even more effective to add some water during the massage or just apply to a slightly damp face. Just make sure you wash your face before applying so the natural oils don't get in the way of exfoliating all those dry dead cells. I really can't recommend these exfoliating gels enough.
