The bag is very beautiful and comfortable to carry. I took it on a week long trip to Aruba and used it mostly for round trips and also a few times in Aruba. The seams on the straps started ripping and the inner lining started ripping by the end of the week. I have to say it's waterproof to a degree, it survived a quad tour around the island that got mud splattered everywhere, the washcloth cleaned it up right away and nothing inside was damaged. I was basically carrying my iPad/phone and cables, wallet, book and some toiletries in one bag and it felt like too much weight. If this will be used for shopping and you don't put a lot in your bag, I highly recommend it. I don't think it's durable enough for actual travel.
