. Short version: 4/5, thought the smoked one was darker, but you have to twist it a bit to snap it into place (as mentioned in other Revain reviews). Long version: I have a white Renegade with an Altitude package, so I have black accents all over it. I wanted to replace the incredibly orange side markers. Either substitute or plastidip. I figured at $29 for a smoked one I wouldn't burn myself if it didn't work, so I went ahead and ordered. They also have clear side markers but I like the contrast so I went with the smoky one. Due to the pictures on the post, the smoky version looks almost darkened. I was a bit disappointed when I received them as they are definitely grey. But when I did a test, I was fine with the color. Still better than bright orange. Install SUPER easy. For example, they snap into place and fall out again after a second. Turn the light on and off, pull out the bulb, and you're halfway there. The kit includes new orange bulbs to keep you legal (plus an extra one, I think that's cool). Insert a new bulb, twist to secure to the new cover and push back in. Very easy. At least on the driver's side. The passenger side was fine until it snapped back. Other reviews here have noted some difficulty tightening, so I felt like it wasn't locking properly. I took needle nose pliers and bent the clamp a bit to get the clearance I needed. After some persuasion, he got up. The kit comes with additional wiring and instructions for connecting this kit to the turn signals so that the side dimensions will flash when the turn signals are on (default, do not flash). I chose not to install the wiring, but it's nice to have the option in the future if I want to. In general I am satisfied with the results. The quality seems good and for the price I'm satisfied. However, if you've darkened the accents, they may not be dark enough for your liking. But hey, that's what the plastidip is for.
