The holographic plastic is colorful and durable except for the cheap vinyl that holds the bands to the metal. They all broke and fell out! So I had to hot glue the vinyl inserts that hold the metal hardware inside the purse under the square brackets to hold the strap together. Holds up well. You just have to be creative when fixing the things you like. Otherwise I would have returned it but I found a way to fix it so I kept it for myself. 20 dollars is 20 dollars. You decide if you watch it fall apart! The looks are nice but they didn't attach the handles well. This bag is for beauty only, not for strength or heavy stuff. I use it with a lot of stuff so it's pretty heavy.
