Review on πŸ‘“ Defending Eyesight: Unisex Blue Light Blocking Glasses - Shield against Anti Blue Ray, Ideal for Computer Gaming - UV Transparent Lenses by Jared Winebrenner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Owned for over a year!

I play a lot of video games and use my computer regularly at work and at home, with a total multimedia consumption via a monitor or television screen of about 80 hours per week. I had headaches, eyestrain, and drowsiness from everything I was doing on screen. Studied, ordered and tried these glasses and they work! I was pretty skeptical at first because I thought these types of products were bogus placebos, but no, bro. My headaches are gone and my eyes don't get too much strain anymore. It also helps that they have thin frames and are great for everyday wear. Most of the time I forget I have them lol. The only two things The ones I will note on the negative side are that they give everything a slight amber hue, so if you can handle that you'll be fine. It took me a week to get used to it, but I don't mind. The last thing that happened after a few months of use is the material in the nose area peeling off from absorbing sweat or oil from the nose which scratches the black a bit. never mind Definitely worth buying and then maybe investing in a better pair with more durable material in the future. Edit: 12/27/2020 Lately, for over a week now, my eyes have been getting really strained again and I find it difficult to play games or operate monitors for more than 2 hours. I'm not sure, whether somehow the coating or the anti-blue light layer has worn off or faded, but these goggles are pretty much not working as intended anymore. Still, for the price, they're worth it even if they last a little over a year. However, I will invest in a pair of Felix Grays just to see if they do any better.

Pros
  • Blue light protection glasses
Cons
  • Doubtful
