After our dog was badly injured by a groomer with a fulminator we stopped taking him to the groomer and started grooming himself. Due to the incident, we do NOT use metal tools to groom our dogs, so finding an effective solution for their shedding season has been difficult. We bought these because we thought they looked pretty flimsy to be honest, but we are very happy with them! Because it is a glove in which it is more comfortable for dogs and us to groom. It does a really great job removing all the dead hair. In fact, we've also sent pairs to our friends in other states. The only downside is that the hair sticks to the gloves (they suggest washing them to remove the fur, but we clean several times a day and don't want to wear wet gloves.) and the gloves are too small for me, can I do not attach the Velcro where hair collects. My hands measure 9 inches from palm to middle finger.
