I wish I had known that a few years ago with my first child. While I don't care if she takes it, I've been trying to keep my firstborn from overeating while I'm battling heartburn. My 6 week old newborn accepted this pacifier without a fight. It helped calm her sucking reflex and made our breastfeeding journey less stressful, especially since I didn't want to feel like a shell person all day. Yes they are grouped but I think we know when they are full. My newborn also has acid reflux so she slowed down the overeating and cycling to ease the burning sensation. She rejects it as soon as she needs it or doesn't need it. She lets us know when she's really hungry. So no confusion. Silicone material is soft but durable. It's not stiff like other pacifiers I like. It also doesn't make my baby vomit who has a very small mouth although the nipple says it's suitable for 6+ months. We only use it when needed, so I don't see it as a problem with weaning in the future.
