My wife is a fan of Fossil watches so I ordered this watch for her as a surprise gift. One thing I've come to understand over time. When guys buy a nice gift for their wife or girlfriend, they expect a gift for Valentine's Day, birthday, Christmas. I think there's something to be said for offering a gift "for no reason" at a time when they're not expecting it. Also, they will know that you could have gotten something for yourself but decided to get something for them. This is one of the reasons why the watch is well received. Another reason is that she just thought it was really beautiful. It also comes in a very attractive tin case. Even if you can wrap it up, I don't think it's absolutely necessary. This is simply an attractive, functional watch that makes perfect gifting.
