Now I'm a real Roku fan

Before buying Roku, I used my Wiiu to stream movies or shows from Netflix or Hulu. The Wiiu worked flawlessly and the user interface was vastly improved over my old method of accessing streams on the Wii. However, on the Wiiu I was limited in terms of the services I could access. After doing a little research, I found that a product I'd never heard of before kept popping up as a suitable substitute. I remember thinking it would be great to have a device just for streaming. This allows me to connect to multiple services from a single source, rather than using the Wiiu for some and then my computer or iPad for others. So I went ahead and took the plunge, and damn I'm glad I did. The 4200XB is everything I can imagine and more. It was easy to set up, small and compact, and can even be attached to the back of your TV. After the initial setup, I started exploring the user interface, which ran surprisingly smoothly. Loading a service like Netflix took a lot less time than it did on the Wiiu. And once you get to Netflix, the smooth browsing resumes through an extremely easy-to-use interface. Now that I've installed my core services (Netflix, Hulu, Anazon), I've gone a little nuts by adding more options to my home menu. I couldn't believe everything I had access to now! I've even discovered services I didn't even know existed. And what's even cooler (cooler(?)) is that the Roku in your home is linked to your online Roku account. This way, even when you are not at home, you can access your account and add or remove services that you deem necessary. A few days later I went back and bought one for my upstairs media room. It's been almost a year and I'm still thinking about how cool (and powerful) this little box is. Now I'm a lifelong Roku fan.
