Review on πŸ›οΈ Babyletto Hudson Kids' Nightstand - Port White - Home Store by Mark Glass

Better hope nothing breaks

I don't write many reviews but after all this product is said and done and more importantly this babyletto company barely deserves that meager 1 star . For our main order, the bed should be delivered in 6 days. We told our little daughter that she's getting her first big girl's bed on Valentine's Day. We walked out, picked a mattress, agreed that fee with the delivery of the bed, we were done and our little girl was so excited. When the box arrived we quickly realized we were missing the side rails. It turned out that when we shipped both boxes (we didn't realize there were supposed to be 2 boxes) they were sent with the same scan code. The driver was looking through a box and probably didn't even realize there should be another one. After numerous calls to Revane and Babiletto, Babiletto blames all of Revane. Revane then orders us a brand new bed and gives us a credit. Big. The new bed will be delivered to us in 7 days and when it arrives it is indeed a brand new bed. We now have 2 headboards, 2 footboards and as many pieces as needed to make 1 full bed. We email Babyletto and end up calling someone to try and order new side rails so we can build a similar bed for our youngest in the future. Turns out you can't buy extra pieces at Babyletto! We're stuck wasting a perfectly good headboard and footboard. The guy on the phone actually told my wife that if he sold us the side rails the same problem would still exist except the wasted sound materials just ended up being wasted in a different condition. How can a company not provide spare parts these days to ensure long-term sustainability? What if the part wasn't lost in the mail or bent when moving? transport damage? Was there an integrity error? The entire bed becomes waste regardless of condition. If you decide to buy this bed or any of the furniture from any of the Million Dollar Baby companies (DaVinci Baby, Nursery Works, Ubabub, Franklin & Ben, Capsule), this will most likely be a case. Waste. The bed itself is of standard quality. I feel less confident about my purchase knowing that if it breaks because my kid decides to jump on it, I may have to buy a brand new bed.
