Oh! I wanted to try this at home to be frugal but I guess it's just professional sugaring for me. I've never seen sugaring done with cotton strips and usually sugaring is applied against the grain and removed as the hair grows, but it didn't work that way at all. The instructions say to remove it against the direction of hair growth, so it's nothing more than normal waxing. It worked well - some of the hair was gone but I still had to go back and shave and it was very messy. And finally, it irritated my skin like waxing! Sugaring is usually better for my skin, but I have red spots all over and I don't even have very sensitive skin. REAL sugaring is usually much better than that, it's not real sugaring. My sisters both wanted to try it, but are no longer interested.
