Okay, first the good stuff. I looked at the sound test files on the Internet and found that these headphones sound great. While they're plastic and feel a bit cheap, so do more expensive headphones. They have no wheezing, which takes some getting used to, even at maximum volume at the lowest frequency. Speaking of which, the maximum volume is loud enough that you can't hear your friends unless they're ripping things off your head. Despite the lack of rattle, however, the lowest frequencies feel stuck like an earthquake. You are good! Although they look very large compared to the photos, the earbuds fit over (i.e. enclose) your ears. The competition is definitely pressing on something: your ears. The built-in controller is nice, but make sure you're sitting in a chair, not lying down. The microphone is good. Also on the microphone. My reading of the reviews shows that anyone pointing out why they hate it says the mic failed after two weeks or two days or whatever. While mine hasn't failed yet, we're approaching two hours from power-on, so don't use that as a reference. The mic is fine, although it's a bit humming and it's VERY far away. However, if your computer has sensitivity control, that's fine, but don't expect a microphone to be as good as headphones. It's not like this. Finally, the headlights look cool but not very bright, and they look bulky but surprisingly light. Although they are not cheap, they should not break. And the sound is great. Not the best, but excellent. So I can say with certainty that this is probably the best you can get for the money. Honestly, they're just as good, if not BETTER, than the $200 HD Beats. Check out the specs. PS For some reason all colors come in an orange box. So if you have a heart attack opening the shipping container, relax.
