My son has been in it on a couple of chilly windy days (good in sub-zero temperatures) and he wasn't cold at all. Keeps him warm and dry. They fit great, we ordered our usual size and they fit perfectly. They feel really solid and have reinforced knees and back. The legs also have a rubber patch that seals the bottom of the boots to keep them in place and keep snow out. The benefit is that the pants also have a seam that makes them 2 inches longer so they sit longer.
