I really wanted to like this product. It has a small, slim profile so it doesn't stand out too much, and the mag stripe setup was great. When it's lit, you're getting a good amount of light. However, I could not get the motion detector to work stably. I tested 4 out of 6 as I ran out of batteries. They require 4 AAA each and I only had 19 batteries. See attached pictures. Sometimes all 4 lights, sometimes 2 or 3. I even changed the placement to see if placing the lights next to each other made a difference. I also tested them individually. Sometimes they light up while driving, sometimes not. Sometimes it lights up when I enter a room or get closer and have to wave like a man. Some light up when you turn on the light, some don't. Couldn't figure out any consistency, so I can adjust the final placement (pantry, closet, garage?) to account for the on/off inconsistency. see photo) I spent too much time and effort trying to figure out where to place the light. So I'll go back and try another option that has more stable motion detection and is less battery dependent.
