I have bought several of these over the years. So far, this particular model works just as well as the others. I prefer the LED screen model to better see (1) what it is and (2) what mode it is in. I didn't know that this model didn't have an LED screen when I bought it. Switching modes is important to us because we change settings depending on the situation - for example, when we go on vacation, just walking around the house or when the neighbors are working in the garden with their dogs. If you don't need to change modes often, this model will do. Set and forget.
