Sizing info -- My son is 2 years 10 months old. He has a really big head and doesn't fit in any of the kid's hats at Target or similar stores. However, the hats in the boys section are too big. I ordered the XL for 4-6 year olds and it fits him very well. Firm so it won't fall off, little room to grow. (He won't be around for more than a year or two.) I love this hat. Gray is a beautiful color and goes with everything. It has a nice wide brim with a low fit so it doesn't just sit on your head and doesn't deflate. Even if you are buying for an average sized child I would order at least a size up.
