These candles are very different from the flicker flame candles I have recently purchased from Luminara and MiracleFlame. The flame tip is much brighter than moving flame candles, sits on a realistic wick, and has a blue glow just below the flame, just like a real candle. However, the flames don't flicker like other brands or cast a flickering light on the wall, which I miss. This is compensated for by gentle power fluctuations, creating a flickering effect. faint bright faint. These candles give off just as much light as real candles, but the wax tip doesn't glow like the Luminara brands for the quarter-inch tip. Like the Luminara brand, they are waxed but taper towards the tip. Unfortunately, my video doesn't show the difference in brightness very well. That's a big difference. I can't confirm the battery life, but in bright light I think it will be less effective. But the beige cones take two AA's, and the remote control has settings for on, off, dimmed, bright (four levels), candle (flickering) or light (constant) and a 2, 4, 6, 8 hour timer. I think the price of 40 € for 8 pieces is great. I have paid for this for 2 candles in years past. I haven't tested all eight in the boxes yet. They are packed in pairs in a box, four boxes in total, with two interchangeable remote controls.
