DO NOT BUY! WORST HEADSET!

Don't buy these absolute headset bins. I bought these on Black Friday to replace an old headset and they were listed for $70 but I got them for $40. I think ok I've heard of Logitech and that's a good sum to spend on a headset. You must be pretty good. But I'll tell you that after 5 minutes I went back to my old headset even though it had a broken microphone. This is very bad. The sound quality is terrible! It's like trying to listen to your game through a hole in the wall. It boasts drivers and yadayada, but with the headset volume at maximum and the headset console completely turned down, you can still barely hear the game! To top it off, it's so inconsistent. One moment I'm hearing my part, and the next I'm struggling to hear her. Heck, the in-game sound is the same. Even with them you can't see the direction. At least not in the game I'm playing, which will allow me to clarify the situation. i play pubg Another fatal mistake - my group complained that my TV got too loud as soon as I joined. Except my TV sound wasn't on. Those damn headphones again. For some odd reason, my group could hear everything I was doing in-game through the headset, as if there was a TV playing in the background and the mic picking it up. I had the party chat mixer set up for the party (vs the game audio). I then muted the headset so it wouldn't detect its own audio (the idea that a headset could even do this is utter madness!) But wait. The game can hardly be heard at maximum volume. Do you see what I'm getting at?! There is no real way to use this headset at all! DO NOT BUY THESE. I'M TALKING TO YOU NOW. GET SOLID. I'm taking this crap back now.

Pros
  • understandable also for the old ones
Cons
  • upgradeable
