Now these lamps are working great :) I have some beautiful crystal vases that my mother gave me, they are on the mantel over my fireplace. The mantle is quite high and the vases are fragile. I wanted to have some lights to show when the lighting in our room is low. These lights are perfect for this purpose. The dim setting creates a nice warm "night light" illumination when we want to watch movies or just relax in the evening. Other than that, our first light worked very well, but the remote control didn't work. It worked intermittently, which was a problem due to the height of the mantle and the delicacy of the beautiful things we wrapped the lights around. I contacted the supplier company directly (as suggested in the small guide). They responded within hours of my email and kindly sent me another set of lights to replace my original order. They also sent a shipping update and inquiry to see if we received the replacement and were happy with it. Good customer service is not the norm these days and Govee solved the problem well to the end. I would happily buy from them again and would highly recommend their products. :)
