I started this because my son was a very chubby baby. As a result, his adorable little fat buns would rub against each other and the friction would cause small pimples/pustules. Eventually some of them became infected with staph and one developed an abscess and had to be drained. The doctor told us to keep putting Aquaphor on him. But I have found that Aquaphor keeps the small blisters hydrated all the time and they can eventually become inflamed. He just couldn't heal. I bought this item out of desperation. When the first pimples appear I apply this wonderful powder and voila! It dried up overnight! We started putting him on his little groin with every diaper change. Eventually all of the small friction pimples healed, after which he developed several more small blisters and never had an infection again. It was awful to see them emptying his little foot, we recommend this powder to anyone who wants to hear it. It saved this mother and her little boy a lot of pain! A jar looks small but lasts months and we use it often and still change every other diaper change for two babies. Love it.
