We were looking for larger indoor pots to repot a growing money tree. As everything is so expensive now due to inflation, we decided to give these a try. They match our decor, and the price was right. After we received them, we recognized that the larger of the two fit over an old 5 gallon bucket that is cut down to size, or the smaller 3 gallon bucket. We haven’t used the smaller one yet, but I’m sure we’ll find and old pot or bucket that would fit in that one. Great way to up-cycle old "useless” stuff rather than throwing away. The woven baskets are tough and sturdy as if your old school grandmother knitted them to last generations. The other thing we like is that you can place on a hard floor and just slide it out of your way if you need.The downside to these are that if you don’t find something with the same shape, the sides will be wavy or scrunchy. They don’t have any taper to them like most planters or even the bucket we used. Also, if and when they get dirty, you know, because of the dirt thing, how well will they clean up? As I’m typing this, i just realized we can spray with some scotch guard or something.
