This bathrobe is so luxuriously soft and comfortable to wear. The blue color matched my expectations from the photos provided. It feels more indulgent than the terry robes I’ve used in the past, and is really cozy and warm. The sleeves are not too long so it’s easy to go about various tasks without the sleeves getting in the way. The hood is big; it sits comfortably on top of the head without shifting around and is so large that your entire head is inside of it, which is really nice on a cold night. The fabric is not bulky, so it’s easy to move in and does not constrict my arm movement. This also means that, even though the hood is pretty sizable, it does not feel cumbersome when not in use.I tend to be a size 18/2x in most brands, so I got the XL per the recommendation in the size chart. It fits comfortably and looks as expected. Out of curiosity I tried wearing a hoodie under it (the kind made with a thicker sweatshirt fabric), just to see if my arms felt constricted, and I was still able to comfortably move. Nonetheless, if you’re looking for a more loose, cozy feel you might want to go over the dimensions provided and evaluate if you’d prefer to size up.The pockets are a little too far back for my personal preference, since they’ve been placed along the center seam rather than closer to the front of the robe. I also wish they were deeper: My phone (about 5 ¾” high and just short of 3” wide; about ½” thick due to the case) just barely fits in the pocket with the corner sticking out a little. On the plus side, the phone does not fall out even when I change from a standing to sitting position. I wore the robe around the house with a lip balm in the pocket and I had no issues with it falling out.The robe stays well-secured when tied with the outer belt. If you really want to keep the inside "flap” from shifting downward as you move, or you don’t want to risk a wardrobe malfunction when answering the door, there is an inner tie to secure it in place. It feels very sturdy and has been well-crafted. The outer belt is attached on the sides, rather than including a separate belt through loops, which I find convenient.I did the first wash in a cold cycle and put it through the dryer on low. It was fully dry at the end of the cycle and there was no discernible shrinkage. Fair warning, though, the fuzzy fabric will end up on the other clothes in your dryer (at least for the first wash) so if you have any wardrobe items that you don’t want to end up with blue fuzz all over, be sure to separate them.
