I bought this specifically for my tote and it is the only item I use regularly from the set but it is great value and worth it for one occasion alone. The hard case for the switch itself didn't fit very well and I couldn't get the buttons to work while it was on, so I don't use it. In my experience the little paw print joystick covers made it difficult to play so I gave them to a friend and he loves them. It's too difficult to get games out of the hard plastic game holder, so I only use the one that comes built into the carrying case. The small charging station is nice and works well. I think the little rubber joycon covers are ok, I have a skin on my switch so obviously I don't want to cover them. Aside from the carrying case, what's most useful are the wheels and bits and pieces to turn it into a more conventional controller. They just make it easier to play by giving the oddly designed joycon a more classic feel. All in all, it serves the purpose I bought it for. I dropped the switch in my carry case and it wasn't damaged so that's great for me.
