I like the jar and the idea of using it to store hand soap but I am very disappointed with the dispenser. I've been using it for about a month when somehow my soap got heavily diluted. I was confused at first as I didn't remove the lid at all to refill the hand soap. How could that happen? It turns out that water from the dispenser flows into the soap in the glass. So if you rinse your hands with water before applying the soap and press the plunger with wet hands, the water from your hands will slowly drip through the dispenser into the soap, forming a thin, watery hand soap that doesn't come off well after you have used it for a long time. If you look at the dispenser, you will see that the water is slowly dripping into the soap. Again, I like the glass, but the dispenser is of very poor quality. Perhaps you should purchase a better quality glass jar with a matching dispenser instead of this product.
