Well it seems to be working.

The packaging of this Active Stylus digital pen is not luxurious, but it is decent. The pen itself looks good. This gave me high hopes that I could use it on my older generation tablets and 2-in-1 laptops. This pen has two ends that you can write on. One is a soft fiber tip that requires no energy. It works very well on all my tablets, phones and laptops, as does any other soft tip stylus. The other end is a thin tip powered by a battery. That's what my review is about. I tested this pen on 4 different devices. On all devices, I chose the Microsoft OneNote app for writing and drawing for comparison. The first is the Apple iPad Air 2 (see image). I felt a slight lag when writing and drawing, but the letters were legible and the lines were clear. However, the slanted lines moved, even though my hand didn't tremble. If I had drawn the line quickly, it would have been straighter. However, this is not possible for accurate drawings. Turns out this is a problem on every device. I liked writing and drawing on the Samsung Tab S2 the most (see picture). The lag is still there, but not by much. The letters and lines came very close to what I would have done on paper. Unfortunately, the wobbling was still noticeable with slanted lines. On the Samsung S8+ (see image), lag and jitter issues made it difficult to write clearly. Straight vertical and horizontal lines were drawn normally, but wobble on slanted lines was worse. However, my worst experience with this digital pen was with the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro (see picture). It was almost impossible to write any words legibly. Even when I draw straight lines, I have gaps along the lines. Of course, the rocking problem reappeared. The writing and drawing results with this active pen on the Yoga 3 Pro were disastrous. CONCLUSION: If you only use the soft tip of this active stylus digital pen to write and draw, it works beautifully. But you can find a much cheaper pen that does the same thing. If you need a fine-tipped pen for taking notes on older devices, this pen isn't for you. This pen might work better on a newer device, but I just don't know.
