Review on Apple 2017 IPad 32GB Wi-Fi + Cellular - Silver (MP252LL/A) Silver 32 GB (Renewed) by Stanislaw Pietka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

Tears yesterday from the first Air and took this one in silver at 128. I warn everyone at once - with covers for it now there are complete seams. There are only relatives of 4-5 thousand. For me personally, they are not worth the money. And others have not yet appeared - the whole Gorbushka in front of me shrugged and persistently offered "universal" armor plates made of transparent plastic to the screen. Cases from the first AIR do not fit it - the camera and microphone are shifted. Plus, the new Air 2 is thinner and has a lot of play in older cases. However, until the release of covers for the new device, they may well serve as a temporary solution. Which, in fact, I did. If you need a camera or microphone, I'll take it out of the case. I'll be patient for a couple of weeks.

Pros
  • - touch id . For me personally, this is a lifesaver. I use the 1password app both at home and at work. Just tired of typing a password 1000 times a day. Now everything is decided by the touch of a finger. The same applies to entering a PIN code after locking the screen - I used to disable this feature so as not to fool myself by constantly entering, albeit just a 4-digit, but still password. Now I have turned on the lock and take the device out of the block by touching the button with my finger. For me, this opportunity played a major role in my decision to sell my first Air and take this one for $20,000. in my personal experience: - the speakers became louder, although I was afraid that, having become smaller, due to the thickness of the iPad, they would sound worse / quieter. No - for this kind of speakers, the sound is quite juicy and loud. I put music on the street - the feeling is not like from a cropped tweeter, but like from quite such a "mafon". - viewing angles began to please. I didn’t have a chance to test it in the sun, but from the light of bright lamps it no longer glares like that. - it became thinner, the memory became 2 times more (2 GB) - which, in my opinion, will allow application manufacturers to deploy more freely. - I personally do not have some IOS 8.0.1 errors that happened on the first Air after the firmware. - there is a feeling of better power saving in standby mode. Perhaps I'm wrong. - Finally, the synchronization with the computer via WiFi worked fine. Personally, I had problems with this on the first Air. She didn't work at all. And here on the move and in the best possible way. that's what concerns the positive aspects, so to speak, hot. So everyone will read about the improved performance characteristics in the specification - so there is no point in writing about them.
Cons
  • - I still think that the iPad case is too fragile and soft. I would have preferred some of the manufacturer's steps towards constructive safety. - when restoring from a copy on Icloud (from the previous iPad) gave the country coal - made me really nervous when, having depicted the process of downloading a copy, installing and rebooting, it suddenly did not turn on. =\ I didn’t react to any pressing of the power button, it made me have unpleasant thoughts about the need to go to the service immediately after buying the device, about the frailty of life and the imperfection of the world. However, pressed at the same time, purely on a whim, the power and Home buttons suddenly turned him on and brought him to his senses. The device booted up with all my data from the previous device. - after the iPad ate the SIM card of the megaphone, he did not want to connect to the Internet for a suspiciously long time. Showed 3g and the name of the network, but did not load the page. Turning on LTE didn't make him find it right away. Found only after reboot. Then all the same did not leave in the Internet. Everything was fixed by turning the cellular network slider on and off in the settings. I'm not sure that the problem was in the iPad, maybe the megaphone network itself was something weird there. Wrote just in case - suddenly someone will help. - WiFi catching, IMHO, did not become better, as it was stated somewhere. It still works just as well, but not better than before.
