These lights get really hot!
The light output of this light is pretty good for my little Halloween presentation on the patio. The only problem I have is that the back of the flashlight gets very hot. You really have to be careful where you put those lights so they don't melt what you're sitting on. If you have young children this is probably not the safest option as the light can burn them. Flying bugs are also very fond of these lights.
