Review on Charles Hubert 3841 GR Gold Plated Mechanical by Stuart Dunn

I bought the 3841-GR at the same time as the 3841-WR, it's the same watch but in chrome and have been happy with both ( so will read this review a lot it seems). This watch has a solid weight and the dial is simple yet elegant. With the crown and pushers at 3 o'clock, the watch naturally orients itself to an easy-to-read position when I pull it out and open it with my thumb. The hunting case works well, although as with any spring case, I close it a little more carefully to keep it springy. If I wind it up before bed, it still works in the morning with no noticeable difference from my battery-powered watch; I put it back on and it's good for the day, maybe touch up in the afternoon. There's no hack to stop the second hand, so I haven't synced it up exactly with my other watches, but it's close enough for my purposes. The 3841-GR is a simple, beautiful watch that works well and wears well.
