I bought two of these LED motorcycle lights. On the first LED light I bought I tested the brightness of the light and ran the light at just over 14.5 volts. light out. So I bought an LED flashlight because I liked the intensity of the light it produced when 12VDC was applied to it. I made sure the light was set to 11.8V DC when I installed the new light. The new light lasted about 2 days, after which it went out. Investigating the LED lamp failure, I found an internal short to the LED lamp base. The flashlight works with a set of COB bulbs when power is applied to the low beam contact and the metal base of the LED flashlight. I will not buy these LEDs again.
