I bought these thinking they were stronger than snap button extensions with a springy metal loop. The problem I've had with them is that the holes cut for the existing button are too small so I can't use them on the three pairs of jeans and capris I was planning to use them on because the buttons don't fit through the gap. They are mostly cut for standard sized jean buttons, so if your buttons are slightly larger they will not fit. Also, and maybe if I think about it, I'd figure it out, but if you only want the first hole on the button extension, the rest of the button extension hangs down and really draws attention to the area. the belt will hide it. I will say the jean material was thick and they will likely hold their shape but as they don't match my buttons I am sending them back.
