Gorgeous looks with an ultra-slim profile that instantly upgrades old threaded lamps. Extremely low temperature and does not require the old fixtures used for the past 50 years. Very bright and dimmable. However, be very careful with the temperature color rating you choose if you are unfamiliar with this specification. 5000-6000K appears eerily white, almost light blue. Think of a bright doctor's office. 300OK is great for kitchens. Anything under 2000K is good for bedrooms, living rooms, outdoor patios. The best part is that you can look vintage with warm incandescent bulbs, but with LED power! And they operate at very, very low thermal temperatures, so your air conditioning bill will be a lot lower! Not much to turn down this lighting option. I installed 16 of these and just ordered 6 more to complete my home. And I highly recommend using a dimmer switch to set the right mood for your environment. I highly recommend this lighting option.
