Organizing our sit-on freezers has been a challenge. One has a shelf, the other has no shelves at all. It is very difficult to stack and organize frozen food without slipping or falling over. I originally bought some plain coated wire baskets that were too long to stack the way I planned. When measuring I didn't take into account the depth of the shelves by the door. These one-piece containers are shorter and allow me to stack them on top of each other in both freezers to keep things organized and stable. I usually repackage meat before freezing it in meal-sized portions, usually in quart-sized freezer bags. Even when stacked, these handy little baskets allow you to see what's inside and lift the baskets easily to access the groceries you need. They work and solve frozen avalanche problems.
