I was so excited to try this and even better it happened when my second monitor died. Upon arrival, I liked the widescreen display; However, it was much less than I expected. It just wouldn't work if connected vertically because it was so small for my main monitor I was working on. I ended up using my larger monitor as my main work monitor and switching it to portrait mode for multi-window work and it worked great. The display is really good with a very fast response time. This monitor has 2 HDMI ports, 1 DP port and 1 audio port. Since it comes with a DP cable I just used a DP cable with an adapter for my laptop to connect it. Really impressed with this monitor so far.
