Cambro does it again

I've been using Cambro for decades and they've done it again. As others have said, this is the perfect size for bulk rising sourdough. For reference, I use 1000 grams of flour per batch for two loaves. This size is perfect for 1-2 of those 1000g batches, and the handy markings on the side are the perfect way to see volume gains. The durable container can withstand a lot of abuse. I've dropped mine twice now and all it did was bounce, which is pretty remarkable for a hard plastic case. No cracks, chips or scratches. They can also be nested, with each successive nested container increasing the height of the stack by about 2 inches. With a slight movement of the scraper, the dough will fall out easily. It washes very clean and easy. t breathable, I don't peel the dough even with 5 hours of fermentation. The lid fits snugly but not tightly and removing and putting on with one hand is no problem. However, this lid is not suitable for transporting soups and thin broth. I'd love to make clam chowder or one that's filled with veggies and noodles, but not like chicken broth. to keep salads fresh for days, holds enough lettuce or coleslaw for a large party and looks pretty impressive. Certainly not table ready, but for portability it's the perfect size for transporting food to a family reunion, church event or if you're doing catering. I have Cambros in 5 different sizes and have been using them both personally and for events for years. I've never had any problems with any of them.
