I bought it with the expectation of running in the Ragnar squadron. Where at least one of the runs takes place in the middle of the night. I've done these headlight races before and always hated the feeling of the bulb bouncing off my head and the light coming off it. I always ended up with a headache. This particular race required me to wear a head light and tail light for two different legs of my run. One of them is 11 1/2 miles in a straight line. I really enjoyed running with this product. It was very comfortable and easily fitted under my reflective harness that I had to wear when racing. It was very affordable and was impressed with the quality of this product. Now we have two of these and we love them!
