Review on 32GB SanDisk USB Flash Drive (SDCZ430-032G-A46) by Aneta Trzonkowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

I went with a flash drive because it could be carried in my wallet. I was expecting the speed to be less spectacular than it is on full-size flash drives, so I was prepared for that. I read some of the reviews on this page, and I found that the flash drives that are the fastest are exactly 128 gigabytes in size. Since these are the best indicators for tests, I purchased this particular one for 1180 rubles. Tested on Linux, kernel 5.4.0-77-generic, ext4 file system. The required writing speed is between 44 and 71 MB/s, and the required reading speed is 136 MB/s. The recording speed often hovers around 25 megabytes per second while real files (nine files with a combined volume of 11 gigabytes) are being copied. In either case, it performs more quickly than comparable USB 3.0 sticks. Other flash disks had a speed of 4.5 mb/s, but this one has a minimum of 25 mb/s, therefore I'm not complaining about the performance. I have included some screen captures from the tests: * Pieces totaling 11 megabytes, recorded at a pace of 71.4 megabytes per second. * Pieces totaling 100 megabytes, recorded at a pace of 44.6 megabytes per second. * Transferring an 11-gigabyte video at a recording speed of 27 megabits per second.

Pros
  • The efficiency of the work, its small size, and the fact that it can be carried in a wallet.
Cons
  • Very comfortable
