This is a nice brush set, especially for the price. The carry case is adorable and it has all of the brushes a novice would need. I took a star away because the powder or foundation brush is not my favorite. It is a little rough and the bristles are so long that it is hard to control for putting powder on your whole face, it is okay for packing blush or bronzer on, but I don't do that very often so I probably won't be using the brush. The other brushes are all nice, especially for learning how to do more advanced things with your eyes. NOTE: The brushes will smell a little funny when you first get them, you should air them out overnight and then wash them before use. (So you will probably have to air them out overnight again)
