Nice wool scarf. It is slightly longer than the advertised size of 70" x 13.5" - I measured 72" not including the fringes. It's long enough to fold and wrap around my neck once or twice, letting the ends hang loose; my favorite way to wear a scarf. Or it can be wrapped and tied in different ways. The scarf is also slightly wider than the standard 12" so it can also be used as a leader. The wool is quite thin and very light, very warm and cozy to the touch. It drapes beautifully and is so soft. It is finely woven and doesn't itch at all. I ordered the black plaid version which is a beautiful combination of rich reds, greens and blues against a jet black background. The look is very traditional and suits both women and men. The current one Price of $28.99 seems quite reasonable for this quality scarf This will be a wonderful gift.
